Embark on an unforgettable island camping experience at the pristine Moho Caye, nestled 12 miles east of Placencia. Camp on this 12-acre private island surrounded by crystal blue waters and coral reefs. Snorkel, swim, and relax in a natural paradise perfect for adventure.

Group Size: 3-8 participants. The boat, the B’alam Quitze, accommodates 8 (excluding guides and the captain).

Duration: Choose between a 2-day, 1-night adventure or extend the magic with a 3-day, 2-night getaway.

Activity Level: Easy to moderate - Opt for snorkeling, swimming, or simply unwind on the shores. All activities are optional.

Pickup: Boat departs from Placencia, with the option for clients to be picked up from anywhere in Belize and transported to Placencia.

Departure: Boat typically leaves Placencia at 11 AM, but custom departure times can be arranged.

Itinerary:

  • Day 1:

    • 11 AM: Depart from Placencia on a world-class motorized sailboat with rooms and bathrooms.

    • 2 PM: Arrive at Moho Caye, where the boat captain sets up tents.

    • Afternoon: Engage in various activities - snorkeling, swimming, fishing, paddleboarding, or enjoying island amenities.

    • Evening: Clients can opt for a cook (additional cost) to handle meals or prepare their own with groceries brought to the island.

  • Day 2 (For 3-day option):

    • Day at leisure on Moho Caye.

  • Day of Departure:

    • 10 AM: Leave Moho Caye.

    • Visit and snorkel at Laughing Bird Caye.

    • Lunch on the boat.

    • 4 PM: Return to Placencia.

Accommodations:

  • Stay in well-equipped tents set up by the boat captain.

Cook Option:

  • Clients can choose a cook during the booking process for a hassle-free culinary experience.

Children and Pets:

  • Minimum age: 4 years.

  • Pets only allowed after careful consideration and MUST wear life vests at all times on the boat.

Rules on Moho Caye:

  • Do not remove anything, living or dead, from or around the island except for trash.

  • Take away all trash when departing.

  • Avoid using plastic bottles, bags, or straws on the island.

  • Be cautious of where you enter/exit the water to avoid stepping on coral.

  • Keep noise levels low and avoid playing loud music.
